Rocks that fall and stick

The rock in a dark studio with WebGPU, and the first fragments that fall on it and stay attached.

I started with the main rock spinning in a dark studio: WebGPURenderer, post-processing in TSL (bloom, FXAA and a dithered backdrop) and a procedural environment map.

Then I added the fragments. With Rapier, each one has a convex hull of its own shape and the main rock uses its real triangles. There is no gravity: every fragment is pulled towards the centre, and once it stays still touching the rock, it gets fixed. Since the physics world lives in the space of the rock's pivot, whatever sticks spins with it.

By the end of the night the fragments were flying in from every direction, with shadows and two more rocks.
